67 Barracuda Front Sway Bar

-
Thanks. I came REALLY close to putting money down on one. It was a great idea.
Short version, very short, after 1 year, 3 attempts for them to fix, dealing with 3 different clowns, being ghosted, sending an intent to sue letter, I finally got my money back.

The final result: the A855 is no longer available.

I love pictures!
It’s built to hook n go in a straight line on the street, so not a corner carver in the least. The Hellwig took out the dive in the corners, and definitely feels more confident now.

For reference, I am running the hellwig 5906 on my 68 formula S with 245’s up front with no clearance issues. View attachment 1716358759View attachment 1716358760

Finally got around to installing the Hellwig Sway bar today!
I' m not a life-long wrencher; but the kit fit my 67 very well.
Lucky that they had not replaced lower control arms recently, because I still had the mounting tabs.
Outside of having to read closely, and do some upside down wiggling, the install went easily.
I use a paint can and a couple of kids play blocks to hold it up while I was wrenching.

My set up looks exactly like your Fast340!
Kudos to Hellwig!

WOW!
I know that you guys have testified about this....but....
I was MORE than pleasantly surprised about the improvement of body roll with the Hellwig front sway bar.

I test drove this evening, challenging the front end by "driving in deep" in turns at higher speeds
The combo of the sway and sloppy steering used to make it a challenge.
NOT NOW! And it even improves the steerability in corners too.
