67 bucket seats

Ok i got a good deal on 68 buckets and i know they are different frames then 67, but just wondering if anybody has managed to put the pre sewn upholstery for a 67 on them. Reason being my back seats are perfect and would like them to match

Backs and frames are enough different that I don't that working. You would be better off trading for some '67 buckets.

To use 67 upholstery on 68 frames I would assume 67 foam would be required, but not 100% I would trade 68 frames for correct ones.

The metal back on the 67 upright is nearly full coverage. I don't think that upholstery/skin goes far enough to reach the smaller hard board insert of 68 uprights. My 66 model upright is only about 3/4 inch taller than a 67. The 67 skins just barely fit them. A little spot of hem shows at upper corners of the metal back.
Upholstery shop could put together what you need from 67 and 68 skins.

That is what i am afraid of is that back section
