What is the difference between a 67 gas tank and the 68-76 tanks.
People on ebay are selling tanks for 67-76 cars, but year one has a specific tank just for a 67
The 67 has a single mounting strap that goes from one frame rail to the other. The 68-up tank has two straps that are parallel to the frame rails. Some aftermarket tanks have indentations for both strap arrangements.
