i keep looking at this 66 hardtop with a wasted front end. i am told it was hit by a firetruck. somebody took a torch to it and cut the front frame and sheet metal off. i was planning on parting it out but from the firewall back it has perfect sheet metal, no rust at all. my friend here in vegas is getting his built 440 back, just the motor. we were talking about putting it in the 66 dart with a tubeular front end. after looking at the front subframe that is being sold on here from a 64 i got to thinking that might be easier. then i thought i might be able to put a later subframe on it that will fit the big block better. anybody know if a later front subframe from the rear torsion bar mount forward will fit into an early a body?
