67 Valiant Commando 273

Does anyone here on FABO have a 67 Valiant with a factory installed Commando 273? Anyone have production figures for these rare little hotrods?

Sorry no info but I do know where one is sitting with a factory 4 speed. I've been trying to buy it for 20 years now and he won't sell. Sad to see it rotting to the ground.

Let me guess, he's going to restore it "one day".

The info I have says that they made 101 Valiant 100's ( 50 4 speeds and 51 auto's) and 245 Signets (82 4 speeds and 163 auto's) that year with the 273 4bbl. Grab it!

That's pretty low production. Where do you find your production numbers?

Check with Ed at Wildcat Autowreaking. I think his son has one.

If it's the turbine bronze 67 that's in the garage, it is not a factory Commando car.
