I have a pair of 69s. Not willing to split these up. All clean and ready to go. Baffles were removed to thoroughly clean them, then welded back in. The 68s in orange are what you have. PM me if interested.

340 4 bbl are different then 318. 68 and 69 are the same. the orange pictures above are 273 318 2bbl. The primered set are also 68 69 2bbl

Only differences I have seen on the 68-69 318 to 340 VCs is a clamp type bracket on the 340s on the RH one in the valley side. This would be an easy piece to duplicate out of thin gage steel flat stock, and weld on IMHO. Not my valve covers in pic, but notice the RH cover. The bracket on the valley side. Not sure if that's for holding just the engine wiring, or if it holds a spark plug wire too. Not even sure why it's there. Is it to protect from extra heat coming off a heat riser? Maybe oldmanmopar can explain why that's there on the 340s. The second difference is no wire loom holder on the top aft end of the RH cover on the 340. Not sure if it was just missing in the pic, or if they came that was for some reason.

This motor has 340 covers. Notice the spark plug wire stand on the drivers side is much higher to clear 4bbl carb. linkage. The passenger side has the wide harness holder which also holds the distributor vacuum hose to keep it off of the exhaust cross over heat.
