68 barracuda front windshield gasket

Has anybody installed a front gasket that does not use a locking strip.My body guy called me and said that I have wrong windshield gasket He said it is missing a piece.Body guy is not mopar experienced but he did take old window and gasket out .I called classic industries and they said it is a one piece self locking gasket it does not use a separate locking strip.The glass guy that is going to install glass said He has not done one in along time but that is the way he used to do it with locking strip.The car has trim that goes around window.Part number of gasket is MA9803.

I've never seen a 68 front gasket that required a lock strip.

67 uses a separate lock cord.
69 up uses the one piece,fold-it-over-lock-strip.
I have a 68, with the 1-pc. I believe its oem.
