I am looking for someone who can decipher the fender tag of my 68 cuda hard top with these letters and or numbers in the first line starting from the top. bcodef8ojkmnoqrjuwy. 2nd row abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz. Third row has a 1 and a 0 aprox. 3/4 of the way down the line and the 0 towards the end. 4th line 12345678 AX TRM PNI UBS. 5th line BH23 415 23 621 142552. I am trying to determine how original the car is. The numbers and letters are as close as I can make them out. Any help is appreciated. Thankyou.

You need to post a pic or post things exactly how they are on the tag.

For example: abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

We need to know what letter the numbers are under.

So if you have a 6 under the f, post f = 6

bcodef80jkmnoqrjuwy ABCDFGHJKLMNPQRSTVWXYZ 1 6 12345678 AX TRM PNT UBS 50 8 1 H5X SS1 B 1 BH23 41 5 23 621 142552

it would be easier if you gave the abc codes as: a-4,b-6 and ABC F-7, R-1

abcdfghjklmnpqrstvwxyz

ABCDFGHJKLMNPQRSTVWXYZ

BH23 41 5 23 621 142552

BH23 = Plymouth Barracuda 2 Door Hardtop
41 = ENGINE: 318cid 2-bbl V8
5 = TRANSMISSION: 3-Speed Automatic
23 = 6.95x14 White wall Tires
621 = BUILD DATE: June 21
SO Number = 142552

12345678 AX TRM PNT UBS
50 8 1 H5X SS1 B 1

25 = Drip Rail Moldings
30 = Body Belt Moldings
78 = Wheel Lip Moldings
AX-1 = AXLE: 2.76 Rear Ratio
H5X = INTERIOR: High Trim Grade Black Interior.
SS1 = PAINT: Monotone Yellow Paint.
U-B = Black Upper Door Frame Color.
S-1 = Black Horizontal Sport Stripe.

I cant get a clear shot with my camera so I'll have to wait on that. Can you tell if the vynel top is stock too?

The needed information is in the low case abc and in upper case ABC.
There is a letter with a number under certain letters these are groups with option codes such. For a vinyl top what number is under the capitol Y?
I posted a 68 tag. It is read as a-6, b-4, h-7, m-6, u-1 and D-9, F-7, N-8, R-1, T-4, X-2.
Get me that information from your tag and I can answer your question.

I have to wait till Sept. to do the tear down [want to drive it in the summer] and if the #s match on the motor and rear end, minus the original rims I might have a #s matching car. Can't help it but I'm getting excited.
