I came across a 68 fastback in Cali on autobidmaster.com
Not mine just figured I would throw it out there!Punch up 1968 plymouth in Cali,it will come up.Aution ends in a few days.

That would be a great project car!
It's only at $125.00 right now, which is a steal.

A bid of $125 will cost you $475. I'm also not sure how there will be Cal DMV back fees if the car is titled in Wyoming... If I were in the market I'd sure think about this car, though.

I think if you were to try and transfer that title to CA then there would be a few extra fees. If they said the value was $10,000 like it says in the ad it might actually be almost $1000. I don't think you would have to use the $10,000 value (unless you paid that much) so the out of state transfer fee would probably be more like $250-$300. If you took it somewhere besides CA or if you are in the military then forget about the CA fees because you don't have to pay them. California screws you when you bring a car in from out of state for the first time.
