You car was a whole lot nicerI had several people here tell me my 68 383 GTS was only worth 5-6k. I knew better and sold it for 14k.
You cannot compare automatic to 4 speed cars they are far apart.How realistic is the sellers asking price? The fact your are asking us the question means you suspect the seller might have too high a price. What price is he asking? If he’s asking $30k for it, then us saying it’s worth $15k is pretty pointless.
Is it a big block GTS?
I know of a ‘68 GTS big block (unmolested but needs to be restored) 4spd car in Burnaby that is potentially for sale. It’s not the one you’re looking it though.

Going to show pics to my body man and get his impression and rough estimate prior to committingIf he’s delivering it from Edmonton for $10k, it’s a very fair price and definitely worth considering. You’ll still likely be upside down after it’s restored but your initial investment isn’t significant compared to starting at $15k or $20k.

Haven't decided yet whether a full blown resto. Or build it as a day 2 car. I'll address the body work get it running and see what direction it leads me.Looks to be a pretty solid example. First, if you bought the car what’s your plan? Restore it, make it a runner? I bought my car, which was in worse shape for $7500. Had hail damage, lots of rust etc. My plan was a full rotisserie resto. I would look at the floor pan, trunk floor, roof, frame rails etc. if possible get the car in the air, throw on some coveralls and throughly check the car out. Just by looking at the pics the seller could be right in asking $8500. These cars, especially big blocks are getting harder to find.
Yes its a disk brake car. (Had a 69 Swinger 340 with manual disks. ) Manual steering. Cruise appears to be original. Have not been successful on decoding broadcast sheet.Wow, power brakes. Looks like you have front disks. Also, pretty rare to have the cruise control option. Is it on the build sheet?

Cruise is a later model unit,74 and later. Chrysler did offer a retro fit kit in the 70s. Looks like a nice car.
