68 Prostreet Hemi Barracuda

Not much to update right now, still waiting on final body work and paint. My good buddy that is doing body and eventually paint has been in the business for 30 years and has painted two other vehicles for me in the past. The shop he works at has decided to no longer do work on restos, auto insurance work only so this has slowed things in progressing. I am still hopeful it will be painted and running late summer early fall. The fenders and doors are finished and ready for paint. I was have some fitment issues with the hood I made, but as of the other night I got it fitting right. I will take the hood and trunk for final body work on saturday. Once those are done then it's time for the car to go in for final bodywork, then one more test fit of everything, a final prime and sand and then color. As soon as I have more photo updates to post I will.

Thanks for the interest, I am excited to get this done it's been a long project and a lot of work.:bounce:

Yes they are a lot of work but worth it in the end. Thanks for the update.

Here's a recent picture. Getting closer to hitting the street. Got the glass put in today.

Love all the mods....great to see some recent progress too. Looks like the light at the end of the tunnel is starting to get a little brighter.

Neat build. I love the Color. I am hoping to paint my 68 that color. My dad had a Dart 68 in the 70's he painted that color.

Here's some more pictures of the finished car. It runs great on the street, I had a four wheel alignment done and it steers perfect. Enjoy the pics.
