69/340 hp manifold installation

looking for photo's to correctly install the manifolds //ordered the special hardware kit and need the proper location of the studs/spring washers ect.

when you get them look at the manifolds and look at the hardware kit. it will be obvious... i just installed a set in october..

Keep in mind that some of the studs go into the water jacket, and need a sealant.
I prefer permatex high temp thread sealant.

that helps/studs with nuts go to the ends (water jacket)long nuts self explanatory

ok another question/// is it factory for a 69 340 have the spark plug heat shield ????? I've seen some with and some without

You do need the shield on the driver's side. It will really help to keep the wires from burning up. AFAIK that was a standard factory installed part.

i didn't put one on.. freaking thing is about $300
