I have ordered from P&G as well as laysons BE/A , tonys, dante's , year one, classic industries, vans auto. I could go on and on. I have never had issues with any of these companies that could not be resolved.
I got armrests from vans auto. One had a blemish on the vinyl. I called em up, explained what was wrong. They said to send it back. They sent me a replacement, along with an envelope with cash the box with the replacement part that was equal to the cost of shipping the defective part back.
I have also heard folks say yearone was a ripoff too. Well any of this stuff is a ripoff if you dont price shop, or wait for good sales. I got my windshield gasket for $69, and my notchback coupe rear gasket for $116 from yearone on a 30% off sale. These gaskets typically retail for $100 , and $170 respectively.
I think part of this is how you approach people on the other end of the line. Not saying you didnt use any tact, however i talk to the people at these businesses with courtesy that i would expect if i was on the recieving end. I think the old saying (you catch more bees with honey than you do with vinegar) applies.
These companies are in this business to make money. This is true, but they are also in it for the love of the same vehicles we love, otherwise they wouldent be there. They also know that bad publicity travels faster than good deeds.
I dunno what to say, i never had any issues.
