Great progress! Looking forward to seeing this car go together!

I used to run the TTI 2 1/2" exhaust when I had my stock 340 with stock exhaust manifolds in my car. Fit and sounded great. The pipes are a full 2 1/2" right off the manifolds all the way back and no pinches. When I bought TTI headers for the stroker I only had to switch the front down pipes out and the system from trans cross member back stayed in place and bolted right to the header collectors.

Did the stock exhaust tips work yet ?

I went with exhaust extensions from a company called Stainless Exhaust Extensions 931-381-6341. He is at Carlisle Mopar Nationals every year. I had him custom make me up a set that were slightly shorter then stock with no bracket to work correctly with the TTI tail pipes. I paid in full at Carlisle for the tips and had to bug him a couple times but he came through and the tips look great but without that massive restriction of the stock tips. You probably already know but the stock tips have an inner diameter of about 1 1/2" inches where they slide into the stock tail pipes, OUCH, that is some serious back pressure!! The easiest way to go would be get some tips from TTI but I am really picky so I took the harder route. Or just get some tips from this guy which use the stock factory style hangers but you would have to slightly modify the TTI tailpipes for that to work. But with the skills you have it would not be hard to do.

Here are some pictures of the tips with the TTI tail pipes. Note how TTI welds a bracket on the tail pipes. The TTI kit also comes with that tail pipe hanger. I had the tips shortened at the end where they hook to the tail pipes so they would not stick out too far. I also had him remove the stock type tip hanger since TTI already had a bracket welded to the tail pipe. Gotta look under the car to know its different then stock. System has been on the car for over 8 years so please excuse the rust/dirt. The rear valance is the original and unmodified. Hard to tell in the picture but the tips slide over the tail pipes for better flow.
