'69 GTS tail stripe - white or black?

The tail stripe on my GTS is showing some wear and I'm going to replace it. The car currently has a black stripe on it, but since it's originally a V88 (stripe delete) it really doesn't matter which I use since it won't match the fender tag anyway. I definitely don't want it to be a stripe delete.

I like the black stripe but I wonder if it might look better with the white stripe?

Thoughts?

Well, in this case, it can't. The interior is light green.

going with what my wife says - black looks meaner and I agree. Also, looks "right" with the black top.

Well, not always...
The '69 340 Swinger I had a million years ago was R4 red, black interior, and white stripe.
Killer combo. R4 Red tends to look orange when the car has a black stripe, but red when the car has a white stripe.
