69 valiant front bench seat same as 69 dart front bench?

Recently picked up a 69 valiant and I want to install the correct front bench.Have access to a 69 swinger front bench.Before I purchase wanted to see if this would be the same.Some research I did on seat covers say it is the same,,also some replacement covers only mention the valiant not the dart...heading to Carlisle tomorrow to hunt a 69 valiant front seat (like I will find one)...my friend would like 300.00 for his 69 dart front...THANKS in advance,Rob

Yes, it is the same seat.
The upholstery pattern might be different depending on your trim level or tastes.
For example, my '69 Valiant 100 2 door post and a friend's '69 Dart Swinger 340 has the same seat and pattern.

Not much of a friend to sale one for $300.00. I tried to get $100.00 for one 5 years ago and could not sale it, at a local Mopar show in South Florida. I threw it in the trash when I moved. Not 100% sure, but I believe the covers were different and basic. The frames may be the same.

I think the only difference may be the seat back releases were either low or high.
