69 Valiant parts needed

I may be wrong but in my studies I believe
the top plate is only good for the 69

69-72 use the same hood & have the same grill configuration & should be the same

Maybe it should, but it doesn't. The '70-2 has a full width latch support that bolts to tabs on the fenders. '69 only has a center latch support approx. 14" wide. It's probably because the grille is metal in '69 and doesn't need the extra support that the plastic ones do the following years.
