Hey there i have a 1970 plymouth duster that is originally a 225 3 speed car, I am in the process of redoing the floors and body work but was curious about a few things, for one I would like to swap to a 4speed tranny and keep the 225 for now, I need to know though if the 4 speed trannys come through the floor the same way as the 3 speeds, Also does anyone know of a good place to buy the floors for my car ?

amd has the metal. about putting a 4 speed behind the /6........ good luck finding one, and kinda moot. why not just put even a 318 in it?

Welcome! Post some pictures when you can. Yes the 4 speed will bolt right in (minus the bellhousing). I suggest getting the bellhousing and aluminum over drive 4 speed trans combo that came behind many mid to late '70s /6s. The ones out of an A or F body car will work.
