Popcorn and Blazer would have got along great, he wasn't aggressive and mild mannered, only seen the switch flipped once toward an aggressive sheppard, it didn't take long for the owner to correct his sheppard.
Blazer raised two of my grandkids.

Yeah, that's how popcorn is too, he has lots of temptations for aggression walking around the house but he saves that for me lol

I did a couple things today, 1st was hone a little out of my balancer hub, that's done.
2nd was to set up my valve springs installed height, turned out pretty good there was a span of .015 in height differences and after someone mentioned that I should check coil bind on all springs since there usually different I was able to make up the difference in fitting springs to installed heights. Blah blah blah & I also touched up my valve job and made my top cut a little steeper, So seat angles are now 38°-48°-65° and the remainder of the 60°& 75° and the burr finish blend.
I still think my intake valves look pretty cool too lol.

Surprised that the cam bearings came in so soon, so I spent a little time after work polishing my crankshaft (no pics of that).
I was expecting a box of stuff from jegs on Monday but they came today, so I'll be making more progress real soon

I bought a bunch of fittings and started to mock them up & quickly realized... what I have isn't going to work, probably going to need to get some 45° fittings for my oiling and some other 90° for the coolant.
Back to the drawing board.

Well I am not one to lose to some fittings, gave it a little thought & here is the finished product for the oiling.

Replacing these soft bearings.
No way they'll stay good for very long with a solid roller.
I bought King hp and was trying to get the coated that I had before. I'm dumb, getting red durabonds and hope for better.

How’d you know I like pussy so much?

You’re doing great at adding a pic to every post. Makes following along so much more enjoyable.

I like it for the moist part…how you gonna support it so the rubber and fittings don’t abrade holes in themselves against the block from the vibration?
Like it for the moist part, LMFAO...
Good question, it's suspended above all the valley area, but I can make something to hold it in place. I will figure that out when I get the lifters and pushrods in place. Everything looks like it will clear right now . Oil will keep the hose from rubbing through itself.

Okay so after some extra thinking through.
There will be no hoses or lines on the side of the block to feed coolant.
I am just poking a couple holes in the heads and gluing straws together to feed the passenger side head. I need to try and get a little coolant to pass between the cylinders (I think).
The only other thing to do is make a return restrictor for the driver side, but basically this is what it will be.
Also, I got this truck from my pops, needs some work but should be cool with a big block Chrysler.

55 ford? That’s cool as hell. I had a 56 big window when I was 17. Had a 223 and a 3 speed manual. I wish I kept that truck.

It’s cool that it has family history. Don’t let that one go.
It has history as far as I can remember, the title is going to be interesting but when I looked at the name on the title, I was taken right back to being a little kid. There's also a in memory sticker on the truck of a guy who was one of dads friends and then I remembered all of the stuff back then too. I have a couple Dodge trucks I'm going to need to sell. My wife will be pissed if I bring another car home.
