are there gaskets/seals that go between the extension and the fender? i looked at DMT and did not see anything that looks like they might be a gasket/seal.

I don't believe so, but........... 
I find it hard to believe but there are none on either of my 2 Demons - the 71 or 72! Just jam that paint together against each other!
No Gasket. Put soft seal in the nuts when installed to seal the attaching studs

I have never seen gaskets/seals on the fenders/extensions before but who knows with ma mopar!?
