Life happens and without crying the blues, I'm throwing my car up for sale. It started life as a 6cyl floor shift car. Still has the hump and 4spd pedals.
It was a "race car" that I bought from a guy in Tucson Az. It has new rear 1/4 panels on it and the only rust is some small holes in the trunk. It's factory Lemon Twist yellow with a black top. Currently primer black with the top. It was set up for a big block / auto combo.
Big bolt front disc, 8 3/4 a body rear, 489 391 suregrip, super stock spring ( not installed), had a 8 point cage that I started to cut out. Has frame connectors. Aftermarket bigger torsion bars.
15x3.5 centerline and 15x8 rears. Could use new tires.
I have entirely too many new, rebuilt or good used parts that go with it.
383 60 over, new KB pistons, resized rods with new DC rod bolts. New bearings, new rings, full gasket kit. Fresh 906s from the local machine shop ( new stainless valves from Prostock Tom, guides, )
Edelbrock Dp4b. Holley 750 DP.
Rebuilt 727 with shift kit.
Nice E body buckets, new carpet. Headliner decent. Aftermarket aluminum door panels. Factory console and shifter. Nice black dash pad.
New OER 71 grille, nos turnsignal lenses, new headlight bezels.
Hood is fair. Last owner cut a lot of the structure out which in my opinion, makes it "floppy". I have a good used hood to go with it. Has the 72 Demon scoop.
$18k with everything I have for it.
I even have a 67 Rallye dash (not the metal dash) that needs some work.
It'll be a killer ride when done.
