All the best with the sale of the car on Ebay.

So you decided that the 1970 340 4 speed car out in Nebraska was a better starting point, for what you want?

The one pic. looks like it has the hole for the reverse light....what you think Dartnut?

I can't tell if there is a hole there or not.
This car is worth saving and is well worth $2000 IMO.
All of the 340 manual cars got the torque boxes as far as i know, i don't know about automatics though....

yes, i figured that since i do not have a enclosed garage, but rather a car-port, that the car in nebraska already had interior, and a engine/trans in it, so it is a better starting point. allthough, if i didn't get the car in ne, i would of been redoing this one, since i had a 70 340 and a833 lined up for 1175.00 for both..
plus, i wanted to be on the road by summer, rather that being a 2 or thre year project. well, if i had all the parts for this 71, it would be done as soon as the ne car, but it would of taken too long for me to peice it together. and i run out of patience still. lol

Car Is Sold, Just Got Picked Up, And I Did Even Better Than I Thought On The Car Price

Good job on the Duster swap. It gets a little crazy when you have to juggle cars like that. The Nebraska car looks like a great start and someone else is getting a really solid start with the car you sold on Ebay.

yea, i REALLY didn't want to get rid of it even after getting the other car, but there are no 1/4 drag stips here, so i really do not need a track only car. but also, the guy has a few parts cars at his house to put it back to street form, which made me feel better. i needed the fenders off of it for the car comming from ne, but i just hated to pull parts of it. so now i might have to go out and buy at least a passenger side fender soon.lol
