72/4 spd # 6180 thermoquad/jetting advice

9.5 compresion kieth black /tti headers / x heads / comp cam hyd/ lift 474/i 474/e duration @.006 tappet lift 280i/287e. lobe seperation 110.0.
Looking for advice on using the stock thermoquad?.

get a 850 off a 440 not sure but some years may be better than others but the thermoquad is a terriffic carb

You want the 72-74 car thermoquad or the 72-78 truck thermoquad. None of those will have emissions crap. An 800 will work IF you can find a Superquad. They have high flow jets and better size metering rods. But good luck. I buy everyone I can get my hands on. I'm up to five now.
