2 owner #'s matching 400 hp for sale. Under 100k original miles, slap stick, p/w, a/c (not working), buckets, limited slip, window sticker, rear defroster, am fader, build sheet, fender sticker etc..... pretty clean. All original, never painted. This car is sitting in my shop gathering dust. I have owned this car since 88 but kids and other issues have made it to where this car needs to be somewhere with someone that will take care of it. It does need the drivers seat recovered. I really don't know what this thing is worth to be honest with you. I do know that I will not "give it away" but beyond that I have looked and seen a wide range of prices but there's no way to know if they have sold. Any ideas? I do have more pics if anyone is interested, I know these aren't the greatest shots. This car is located in south central Kansas about 5 miles from the Oklahoma border.

Need more information to determine value. Running? Any rust? Does it need any work to get it back on the road?

nice car...what do you think it's worth...I'll go 3K and come up and get it this weekend...see ya Friday...:) And I'll take care of it for you really well...what more would you want.

Yes it is running, it does not have any rust on it. Everything is original, vinyl, interior, etc. I have the original magnum 500 wheels as well, I even have the plastic trash bag that hung on the radio knobs.
Texas dart, would ya tuck it in & read bedtime stories to it as well? Ha ha. I would consider partial trades if someone has a project car.

I was thinking around 6k so I am close. It is a P code car by the way which I believe was the highest output 400 offered.
Should have kept my 70 440+6 4 speed bee or the 70 R/T SE challenger, or the 63 savoy 2 door police car with the 361.......... The 80's were tough
coulda shoulda woulda oh well.....

I'd breast feed and burp that little baby!! Thats nice, kinda reminds me of the charger I fell out of when my dad was driving me to cub scouts!!

$5000 sounds about right to me, too. It's hard to sell a car now with the economy in such bad shape. If things were better you might be able to get $6000.

Yeah, it is an ugly green and the whole damn interior is that color. Seats, dash, carpet, console, head liner............
4spdragtop; glad to see the scratches are healed up.

Not trying to hijack BUT I know where a 63 Plymouth Savoy 2 door post that was a old police car sits. Its rough but it is a factory BB 2 door post with pwr brakes, sway bar, suregrip and so on.

Looked at one last year the fella, locally, was asking 9k for and it was a 318, rusty and needed interior work, he sold it but I don't know if he got his 9k, but he has another in about the same condition as the first that he's asking 9k for...there is another locally that has been patched (roughly) and painted with a BB, needs interior work... that guy won't put a price on it but he truned down $4k on ebay...I would say 6k is a good price on this car if its as clean as it looks in the pics, and would say that even with the economy the way it is.

It is as clean as it looks. I bought the car in 88 with 49k miles on it from the original owner. It has been garaged the whole time that I have owned it and when I bought it the car hadn't been tagged since 84 and was sitting in their garage. On the price issue I have seen them listed higher but we are back to the problem of knowing if they sold or not. What sucks is that if it was a 72 (s)camaro 6K would get you a car with rust holes big enough to throw a cat through. (especially if it was a #'s matching factory big block car)

Also, to the poor guys that have to sell theirs due to divorces; fire your attorneys, now!
I have had mine through 2 divorces.........kept the car, got rid of the wives.

It could probably stand to be refreshed, probably carb kit, water pump & such. I put a new oil pump in about 5 yrs ago & new pan gasket, new wires, recored the rad etc... I haven't put more than 500 miles on it in the last 7 years.

Here is my 2 cents! I bought an 72 sebring plus 2 years ago for $6,000. It was a 400 AC car but it has a newly rebuilt 440 with 6pack rods, pistons, balanced blueprinted extensive head work rebuilt trans & rear end. Has headers and new 2 1/2 inch exhaust, alum intake, aftermarket 1.6 ratio rockers etc. All new front end pieces, new fuel lines, brake lines, new fuel tank & sending unit. It has aftermarket wheels and the factory rims with trim rings, center caps came with the car. I had a little rust where the vinyl roof meets the body and a little rust in the rear quarters which I have had repaired.
So based on this info even 5,000 is a lot for a car that will have to be rebuilt due to high mileage.

This is the correct way to put a value on this car because it is in stock form:clock:. The custom values are totally different.

And keep in ming the only #1 car has less than 10,000 miles on it and is in straight stock excellent condition!

The 6000.00 is a correct value.
