727 line pressure

im adding a transmission pressure gauge on my trans lines and i was wondering what kind of pressure will it be , so i can order the right gauge.

Is your transmission stock? Try this site. Not sure if it will help but does show line pressures for upgraded valve bodies.

I'd think anywhere from 50-170psi depending on the condition of the trans and the valve body.

Reverse is higher, like 250-300psi. If I were putting a guage in I'd be sure it could take 300psi.
