I am having trouble finding the correct rotor and inner wheel bearing seal for this spindle. The correct rotor appears to be the earlier 70-72 E body with the smaller inner wheel bearing as THAT rotor is 4-3/4" overall height. The rotor that autozone sells for the 73-76 E and A body is 4-7/8" overall height. This taller (thicker) rotor will not allow me to use the washer over outer bearing and still get nut on and cottor pin in.

Using the earlier rotor doesnt work either as I cant find a grease seal that will fit rotor and larger knuckle.

Do anyone sell the correct rotor??

Early E Body used 4 piston KH calipers much like the B Body's used.. The 73 and later stuff is for single piston calipers. Can't mix and match.

These were pulled from a 72 challenger. See if they look like yours.

Your mistaken in your reply.
70-74 E Body Barracuda and Challenger cars NEVER used 4 piston calipers.
Single piston calipers were used from day one. 1970-74.
A BODY cars from 65-72 used Kelsey Hayes 4 piston calipers.

i dont know where u getting your info but NO E body ever came with 4 piston calipers. '69 was last yr for those

The rotors do not interchange between the '70-72 E/B body and the 73-76 A body. Rotors for the 70-72 B/E body use a smaller inner bearing and seal, and were originally 2 piece although they are now reproduced as 1 piece rotors.

If the 73-76 rotor does not fit your 73-76 spindles, something is wrong with either the rotor, spindle, bearings or seal. Or some combination of those parts.

Are you sure the inner bearing and seal with the '73+ rotor is fully installed on the spindle? Sometimes a stiff seal can hold the entire assembly off the spindle a little bit.

when I bought rotors, bearings, and seals from rockauto last winter, the bearings and everything fit right, BUUUT the seals didn't. the seal changed in the late 70's/early 80's to a larger OD, and the rotors I had ordered (labeled as proper for a 1976 duster) were machined to the larger seal diameter. I had to buy seals for an '85 5th avenue, and then everything went together just fine.

Also the 66-69 B body 4 piston were Bendix. 66-72 A body used KH 4 piston.
70 B/E had the wide mouth single piston.
