Refer to picture for what i am referring to. What is the best way to remove the heater core? and can these pipes(circled in pic) be removed somehow if so what is the best way? i will be covering these holes in the firewall with fiberglass after removing the internals.i removed the glove box insert today to see if i could just unbolt the core and remove but it did not appear to be that simple any help would be appreciated.

The first thing you circled a nothing to do with the heater core. the hoses you have to remove. Now if you look inside right side where the air vent door is there is a rod that is shaped like a hook on one side (top) and has a bolt on the bottom (under the vent). The hook hangs on to the cowl. Once you unbolt that it should come out.

The circled plate on the left is just a cap for some kind of pollution control device that was not installed on your model .

Down load this. I know it's for a 72 it can't be much different.
72 service manual: [ame="http://www.abodyjoe.com/pictures/Misc.%20car%20info/1972%20Plymouth%20Chassis%20Serv%20Man.pdf"]http://www.abodyjoe.com/pictures/Mis...Serv%20Man.pdf[/ame]
It might down load slow.

Thank abodyjoe for the link.

The thing in the circle to the left maybe for a vacuum reservoir. But not sure.

Hope this helps.
