73 Valiant Charger - Hemi 5.7

Hey guys, my names Dave I live in Australia and this is my 1973 Valiant Charger. Currently running a 265 hemi 6 and 4spd manual, I am pulling her off the road in a few months to start 'the conversion' 5.7L Hemi out of a 07 charger, and a 6spd manual from a 09 challenger.​

I have got 90% of the parts I need just a few things like the oilfilter block off plate, a v8 kframe and the engine mount insulators.

6 speed clutch, flywheel etc

Pile of parts - wiring harness (hotwire auto), engine mounts, remapped computer, gaskets, non mds lifters, milodon sump and pickup, wix filter etc.​

Hey mate, I see only one problem with your setup of parts......steering wheel is on the wrong side, lol!!! Just pullin' your chain, it sounds like your on your way to have a sweet ride.

Challenger 6spd​

Biggest problem will be making enough room for this gearbox in the transmission tunnel!

haha, perhaps you are right, or perhaps having it on the right hand side is the right way, either way I hope you are right.

I did get one of those 15" grant 3 spoke mopar tuff wheels which looks identical to our wheels just that slight bit smaller. :tongue8:

This is the main problem I am referring to

I think our laws over here are a bit more strict in terms of modifying this area to over there in the States. This I feel will be the biggest issue to tackle.

I wish I was headed your way...I love to modify stuff....and I got a buddy...he's in Switzerland right now(Swisswill)....he's got a Masters in plazma cutting...sometimes I have to hold him back a little............

too bad about your laws on modifcation over there.....in the USA ...we still do anything we want....I guess some would say..they haven't outlawed stupid yet...have you ever seen a motorized outhouse???.....just sayin'
