74 Duster 318 tank sender

:read2:Good evening to all...can anyone tell me the correct size sending unit for my 74 318 Duster? I see 3/8 and 5/16 listed on eBay,and the one previously installed on my car will read empty after only about 80 miles of driving!! Somebody did something wrong...Thanks...JHBell

5/16" would be the correct one.

Thanks...maybe that is the reason it reads incorrectly?

If calibrated the same both senders should read the same. The fuel line size
is the only thing different between the two. toolmanmike
