Got a 225 74 duster once in a while the starter keeps ingaging when the engin is running i shut the car off and restart it and it stops back to normal i did all the typical repair to the harrnes like by bypassing a few wires from the bulk head everything is fine but it dose this one in a while dose anybody have any ideas?

Find a white harness connector under the steering column. It comes down from the ignition switch. If it is melted and any other hot wire is shorting to the yellow wire, there's your problem. If no fault found there, next place to look is the wires on the starter itself. A short there will also cause a starter run.
One more place that may or may not be suspect is the seatbelt interlock that the 74 model had in the start circuit yellow wire. Deleting that one year only feature is fairly simple but if someone went the wrong way about it.... who knows
Hope this helps
