74 under dash wiring harness, Help

I am replacing the slant 6 225 C.I. in my 74 Duster with a 360 C.I. Is the under dash wiring harness for the 6 the same as the v-8.

The harness for the /6 is no different than the V8 under the dash. What is your doner engine and trans from?

You'll find a white plastic harness connector in the engine harness. The differences are in wire lengths and routing away from that connector to senders, alternator, etc..
I suggest you delete that connector if you can. melting and shorts were somewhat common there. It was only added for ease of assembly anyway. Earlier models had no such connector. Their engine harnesses were different from bulkhead connector onward.

woodie the under dash harness from the donor car was melted in the center lug at the firewall block. I was able to find a harness on e-bay but I wanted to see if my current harness would work.
now will the v-8 plug ins on the engine compartment side plug into my current 6cyl under dash harness and work
