8 1/4 date code

Can anyone help me with the date code on the 8 1/4 rear? I need to order a bearing kit and 75 is a transition year.

I found this, may not be very helpful
• The 8.25 rear had two different size carrier bearings over the years, pre '75 they use the smaller sized bearings and '75-96 uses the large bearing

That is very helpful, I am assuming that my axle is a 73, but I’m hoping someone who knows weighs in. I’m used to Mopar’s using the Julian calendar for date codes so I’m not sure if the 73/4 is the date code. Worse come to worse I can tear it apart and measure the bearings. I’m just trying to have everything ready so I can tear down and rebuild back to back.

It’s a 73 small bearing, I wanted to have everything before I tore into it otherwise that was the plan
