8 3/4 case ?

I have a 489 case a burned up sure grip and I have a 742 case with a locker in it. Does anybody know if I can swap the locker over to the 489 case.

sure grip are interchangeable..

Sure can but you will need to keep the gears that are in the 489 case, or just swap the whole 742 unit into your rear housing...

correct the ring and pinions are not interchangeable...only the carrier..or sure grip or posi...or whatever it is called this week.
