87 police sterring gear in 70 Duster?

I found an 87 "AHB" cop Diplomat in a scrap yard.

I'm also going to look at a nice clean 70 Duster.

Will that box work for me?

The pitman arm will be different from the 70 unit. Mopar changed the size of the sector arount late 1972. You could use a 73-76 A body pitman. There may be others that will work, but the large sector is what you will need to use that later steering chuck. You could also upgrade to the Firm Feel fast Ratio pitman and idler arms while your under there. They are pricey, but a great upgrade.
