9/11 Car Shows

After being off the form all weekend and most of the week, I decided to show you all what I have been up to.
Friday I took my car to its first ever car show! Just a little cruise night, met a lot of mopar people and have more connections.

Leaving the show, the carb started to die at part throttle with fuel starvation. Got it home but something was up.
Then on a whim this morning I decided to go to a 9/11 memorial car show that the main ford and mustang club puts on. Being less than a half mile away from my house, I decide to risk it and go. On the way there, the carb is bogging, dying, choking, the whole bit. after it dies EIGHT TIMES in that half mile, It makes it there and dies at the registration table.
When I went to leave, no start. with no tools, I gave it full choke and kept it above 2000rpm all the way home. Me and a friend already figured out the problem at the show, I just need to go and fix it. (transfer slot is out of whack as well as the idle mixture)
All in all a good weekend with two car shows in a 24 hr. period.

Go for you! Sounds like a couple of fun shows.

I looked for a show around my town but didn't come up with any. Planning to take the wife on a cruise tomorrow.

Better hurry and get it fixed if ya wanna do El Mirage tomorrow They must have a class for Stock Slant 6. Jus funnin' ya.
At least it didn't give up the ghost on the way to Apple Valley.

no, I have to go to Hesperia a lot because that is where most of the car-related stuff is at but home base is in AV.

Yur Sun Devils kicked the crap outa the Bunnies last night. Antelope Valley, Victor Valley, Ridge Crest, and Barstow high schools used to be in the same league. That's how I know bout that stuff. Every feetball season before the game with Victorville, Barstow High had a "Bunny Burn" where they burned a Jack Rabbit replica in effigy. They were long time rivals.

I went to 911 show in Simi Valley now. About 200 cars.
