904 question

I have a 1966 Dodge Dart with a 170 Slant six and a 904 Auto on the column my question is I eventually plan on 318 swapping the car and I know the small block 904s and the slant 6 904s have different Bell housings.

But what I'm wondering is what a small block 904 have the same shift linkage has a slant 6 904 as well as the same crossmember?

Yes, '66 and later V8 904s can use the same linkage and crossmember (as well as the same speedometer cable and same driveshaft, although the NSS may change).
