904 questions.

First is, if I put a manual valve body in my 904, does that eliminate the kick down lever? Second is, the band adjustments, how and when is it done? My 904 shifts very quick when taking off. I'm thinking of adding bucket seats and installing a floor shifter. I'm not a big fan of a bench seat and column shift. If I'm going to add a floor shifter, I might add a manual valve body.

Not a trans. guy but i have a manual valve body in my 904 and you have to manually pull down shift lever to get into first gear. If not done it stays in third gear.

No kickdown linkage required. As stated must shift up and down with your shifter.
