911 for 411 sb mechanical rockers

There is/was a company called Rocker Arm Specialists, or something like that, that took rockers and upgraded them with bushings, smaller shafts to not weaken the rockers and corrected ratio. The best adjusters are the ones with the allen-head tops as opposed to slots.

Yea, had a hard time finding a pic of small block Isky rockers to reference. But yours was a case of misidentification. Crane, but wrong engine application.
I agree, I've seen the Isky and the cranes oh maybe somebody else was making them but it's been some time ago maybe Erson .

If I Were King the flat blade screwdriver would have been gone a long time ago

Forgot I had an Isky catalog!

The rockers are offset. They’re for a BB.
SB rockers are straight(all 16 the same, no lefts/rights).

The SB Crane rockers don’t really look anything like that.
They’re more like 273 rockers, but “beefier”.

Edit, I see Rocket has a pic of one above.

The OP may have still done okay with those depending on what he paid for them.
I believe the current price for Crane iron BB rockers and separator springs(no shafts) is about $500.

Those look like big block rockers by looking at the pushrod adjuster location which seem to be a little off center. Small block adjusters are centered in the rocker.

The small block Crane iron rocker kits did come with springs and not spacers. The shafts were not grooved in the Crane small block kit. I have a couple of pictures of Crane small block rockers. I am posting one or two on my phone but may have more at home. Ignore the shafts in The background as they are not Crane shafts.

Crane in third picture is one on the left.

All right that's driven me mad and made my day all the same time.
Thank you to everybody that got back to me on this .the little ratings buttons in the threads I need to be able to use more of them likes and agrees and thanks all together.
They're beautiful rocker arms just not what I need. If only the small block stuff look that nice (strong) the Arched rib across the top the gusset coming down from the oil hole to the shaft barrel all top notch .
A couple of posters in this thread have expressed interest and making an exchange of some sort for them . After I speak with the vendor tomorrow sometime I'll get back to those folks in the order in which I contacted them this evening. And I'll asure I'll ask no more and no less than I have into them.

Yes , thank you Rocket . Yeah I'm familiar with the crane small block rocker arms which is what I was told these were. Tell me the middle picture as the post appears to me in your msg. the rocker arm on the right hand side bushed . I can see the bushing in it with the arched rib above the arm , what make is that?

The rocker on the right is the picture in posts #14 & 32 is a Mopar Performance W2 exhaust rocker arm. The rocker is much thicker in the body and has plenty of meat to add the bushing.

Looks to me like the small block shaft you have on top of the package is shorter than what's in the package. Those are big block rockers for sure, but I think the whole setup is big block, obviously marketed incorrectly.

Poor photogoofer . The shafts in the pkg.
are same length as the early 273 on top of pkg. . The hold down hardware sb also.
Thanks

I’d send what you have back and get a refund. Then take that money and call Mike at B3 racing engines and have him hook you up with rockers and a correction kit and then your good to go.

I dont have a cylinder head ready . I need to make some calls and decide on somebody. Valve job and something along the lines of a stage 2 port job. Bowl work some mild Runner work. That's not something I want to hand off to just anybody. That's a craft job in my opinion. I've always wanted to go to Hughes engines they're nearby well within a couple hours . they're close enough I would drive there to drop off and pick pickup and anything else I might be required to be there for. Likely nothing. But as I read around forms here lately I don't know anymore. But it's impossible for me to know both sides of any story. Just have to make the calls and see what I think afterwards. Open to suggestions on that if you have any.
I exchanged a couple emails with Mike at B3 . he was on his way to Carlyle at the time . I was looking for some information on detecting incorrect geometry. Some literature something I could read.
Thanks
