[WANTED] A-855 5-speed OD

Looking to see if anyone is interested in selling a Passon Performance A-855 OD transmission. I’ve been in line for years but heard they might have stopped making them

They stopped making them for a reason. There was some quality control issues at the mfg. Jamie posted something on his site or YouTube maybe.

Jamie got a screwing on that deal. The only way I would buy one now is if Jamie handed it to me a told me he had personally checked it and it was good to go.

This topic has been beat to death.
Jamie was 100% culpable, he did not get screwed, he partook in the screwing and showed zero character throughout.

I recently put a cast iron OD A833 in my Barracuda.
Worked 383, dual quad tunnel ram, drove it 2,500 miles on Power Tour last month.

The idea was to swap my original A833 back in when I got home - nope!

I drive it everywhere now, no complaints.
Don't believe the negative hype, trans does everything very well.

I already ordered another one for my Dart.

Imo, stop searching for a magic bullet one size fits all no modifications needed bolt in option - it doesn't exist in the aftermarket, Chrysler made it in the 70s and people are catching on.
Get one while they're inexpensive.
