I picked up a 67 273 (Per the block stamps date & CI number) that has adjustable rockers and 920 heads.
The heads and block are that light blue Chrysler engine color. It looks like factory paint.
The valve covers are red, I know the whole thing should be red.
Any ideas?

Looks like the trans that came on that blue engine . The trans is a 70 or newer. The torque converter won't fit into the crank of a 67

Headers, newer trans.... previous owner painted it blue, had chrome or cast valve covers on it, a custom torque converter and swapped the original valve covers back on so he could keep the fancy ones for his new motor.

The numbers on the pan rail will tell you what year and sometimes what model the trans came in originally. Post those and I can tell you. The engine was likely rebuilt at some point and just got whatever paint that was handy.
