a body 10 inch drum swap front

wanted to know if i just have to knock out the studs off the hub up front to swap in a new drum? i have done this procedure with my small bolt pattern disc brakes wondering if its the same.

Studs are swedged onto the drum at the factory. You must remove the swedge before driving out he studs, or you could ruin the hub. There is a special tool to do this, but others have just used a grinder, or cutoff wheel.

If original you need to cut the swag off to remove the drum without damage to the hub. When the factory put the drums on they swagged the drum down with the studs.
