67-9 will work but you have to weld up holes for trunk trim.

This is why I'd prefer a 69 to begin with but beggars can't be choosers.

actually a 69 deck lid panel on a 67 or 68 deck lid is the best case
you have to make holes but the panel covers existing holes

I have a 68 thats usable. Had some repairs but turned out fine. Currently in primer. Also have a 69 tail panel in nice shape if your interested.
