A body console

I got an A body automatic console, and after putting it in, it seems to favor the drivers side. is this normal? or what do yall think the problem is? I haven't welded the supports to the floor yet... maybe thats it. what do yall think?

Yes it's normal, the hump is not in the center of the car.
