Thanks for the pics! I recently bought another Hustle Stuff A-Body Hemi 4-speed. The one that started this thread looks to be a 4-speed overdrive unit from 1976 converted to a Hemi 4-speed with the 10,000 day calendar date that new, which is January 28, 1976 (5297)

I know when the adds like FB, CL and eBay go away you can’t see the pics and those are worth the details.

The other thing that caught my eye was the VIN stamp, “6G171176” is a 1976 car built at the StLouis assembly plant.

So like you said it’s a converted OD unit with Hemi/crash box gears.

On a side note, can’t see the pictures of the original transmission.

I was curious about the trans I found in my stash last weekend and it is a 1976 cast iron A-Body 23 spline trans! I thought pretty much every trans was aluminum by then, that's what I get for thinking! Came out of an A-Body for sure, 6B457151 it looks like, must have been a 360 Dart Sport or Duster...
