Jeez? No. Where is the heat coming from?

I'm thinking either the Dutra Duals or possibly the Gill Fat-Pipe below them... I'm leaning more toward the Fat-Pipe since it is thinner walled....

I called Lokar but of course you have to leave a message for tech support. They called me back but I was in a bad cell coverage area and call dropped. I haven't tried again, but think I'll use these two items for my next repair attempt.

That’s what I’m using but I don’t have exhaust so near to the carb. Ask them if there is a liner inside the SS cable if you get them on the phone again. I don’t think it does???
I like the wrap idea. Used some on my fuel line next to the headers to battle vapor lock. Some folks seem to think it traps heat in however…??? Be safe!
