Anybody here had to buy a replacement a/c evaporator? If so, where did you buy it? Need one for a 70 Dart Swinger.

I bought one at oreillys but that’s been several years ago.
I had a leaky one, capped one side of mine and hooked it up to my air compressor & threw it in a bucket of water. Found the leak easy, soldered it up & put it back in.
Rock auto should have it.
I could be wrong, but I don’t think anyone is repoping the evaporators, only the condensers

You might be right, looks like rockauto does not have either.
Local radiator shop might be able to fix it if there is one around you.
Might be an easy fix if you can solder plumbing. The bends and joints are on the ends where you can usually get to them. That’s where the leaks often happen.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll probably see about getting it repaired if the crack/hole is in a good place to get to.
Use silver solder if possible.

I sent my evap and both hoses to Original Air to get restored
