A/C Heater box interchange question.

Will a a/c & heater box from a 1975 Duster work in a 1973 Duster without modifications?

Yes. 72 is the cut off year.

It should fit if your going heater/ac to heater/ac box. If your trying to add a/c it won't work as the firewall is stamped and drilled totally different with just heat.

If my memory serves correct, the heater core for 75 and 76 model has a different part number from others and doesn't interchange. Does that mean the tubes and placement is different ? I don't know. Maybe the difference is in the case.
