A/C To Non A/C conversion

the non A/C water pump pulley is deeper, lining the belt up with the first groove on the crank shaft pulley

non A/C

A/C

This is what had me all confuseded. I was going to just buy a wp pulley from Mancini it said 'fits with or without AC and with or without PS'. It just didnt seem right if one is deeper than the other. So i poured another drink....

and to trouble the waters even more, some A/C cars run a 2 groove water pump pulley that runs two belts over the A/C, alternator and waterpump
some A/C cars run two belts on the A/C and alternator and a third belt on the water pump and the power steering pump
some non A/C cars run a belt on the alternator and water pump and a second belt to the power steering pump
some non A/C cars run a single belt on the alternator and the water pump
and just for fun, here is a picture I borrowed from the ramcharger forum with a 360 with a 3 groove water pump pulley...no A/C
