that is a real sad thing:( that man was a legend all over the world!

I had a chance to meet Ronnie on a few occasions. He was a great , down to earth person and he will be missed dearly. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. I will never forget the first time I saw him drive his 1968 hemi cuda....the hair on the back of my neck stood up !
 
He reminds me of what 1/4 mile street car drag racing was all about in the late 60's and early 70's. The days before Giggle juice, air shifted 5 speeds, and turbochargers in screaming 4 bangers. He could speed shift that 4 speed Hemi Fish faster than any automatic and put the fear of god into Ford and Chevy racers whenever Sox and Martin came to town. He was "the man" and will be missed by those of us who remember his style and that right arm. :notworth:
