Pictured are my two new A’s.

The gold 68 2 door has the factory Rally dash and us a 170 slanty /904 auto, manual everything else. Needs floors and fuel.

The red 69 4 door is bone stock with a 225 slant / 904 auto, manual everything else. Painted with latex house paint over puce? original paint?

The 68 is going to stay mostly stock and be a fun gas sipper. Maybe some mild upgrades like a factory 2bbl and some slightly bigger exhaust. I’m trying to squeeze 25mpg out of it.

The 69 is going to be my “asshole machine”. It’s going to get the full hotrod treatment after I steal the stock parts I need from it to do the 68. It will be the foil to the 68 in every possible way.

That red house paint will be carefully peeled off and both cars will just wear their original finishes or what’s left of them. I don’t plan on any other cosmetic changes, besides maybe trying to pop out some of the front fender dents in the 68.

Welcome aboard from NY!
We like to see 'em still being loved around here  .

Good luck with your plans for those A-bodies.

Sweet cars! If I wasn't knee deep in A's, I'd have a 67-69 Valiant. They look so cool...

So, there is a 72 with a rotten roof and a title that I’ve got my eye on. I’m thinking that between the three cars, I can build two complete ones that I can put on the road. One stock 68 and one 69/72 Frankenstein freak. Anyone near Charlotte, NC have a 373 or 400 B Block? Matching 727?
